Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data ClarifyLoop (the "Service"), operated by Jose Jimenez, collects, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. It is aligned with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR / EU GDPR), regardless of the country you use the Service from.

1. What data we collect

From Customers (registered users): email address and password (the latter stored securely by our authentication provider), and the names of the sites they create.

From visitors of our Customers' sites: the feedback text they voluntarily submit through the widget. We do not intentionally collect sensitive data or personal identifiers from these visitors beyond the text they choose to write.

2. How we use the data

We use the data to operate the Service: authenticate you, show you your sites and your feedback, and automatically classify each feedback message by sentiment and category using artificial intelligence.

3. External providers that process data

To provide the Service, we share data with the following providers, each subject to its own privacy policy:

Supabase — database and user authentication.

Vercel — application hosting.

Anthropic — processing of feedback text for automatic AI classification.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process Customer data based on the performance of the service contract (these Terms and this Policy) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the Service. Visitor feedback is collected at the Customer's request and initiative; the Customer is responsible for having an adequate legal basis toward their own visitors.

5. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we delete your personal data and associated feedback within a reasonable period, unless we must retain certain information due to a legal obligation.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, or portability of your personal data, as well as object to its processing, by contacting us at 2ajosejimenez@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and Row Level Security policies in our database, which prevent one user from accessing another user's data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect registered user accounts below that age.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. These providers maintain their own data protection safeguards under applicable international regulations.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use local browser storage only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising tracking cookies or share data with ad networks.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or within the Service itself.
